Digging Up The Past by David Veart

Archaeologists study old things to find out what happened in the past.  They have studied moa eggs, they have found out what people ate, they have even investigated dog poo.  This book was a finalist in the NZ Post Children's Book Awards and we have it in the library.  It is full of photos and illustrations and is really interesting.
